Willie "Shep" James Shepherd, age 70, was called home to be with the Lord May 25, 2022.  He is preceded in death by father, William Cook; step-father, Willie Truitt; aunts; Susie and Polly; uncles; Charles, Tommy, and Fred. Left to cherish his memory, loving mother, Sara Truitt, devoted brother, James (Toni Rispress and family) Shepherd,  special cousin, Patricia Bolden, spouse, Myrtice Davis Shepherd,; special childhood friends, Robert Mickens and Johnny Mickens; extended family; Muzetta Roberts, Nancy Suber, Felton (Martha) Davis.  A host of other relatives and friends.  Life Celebration 10AM Saturday, June 4, 2022 in the Chapel of SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E.
