Willie Lee Partridge

Willie Lee Partridge, (60) affectionately known as Bill, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on August 28, 2025 at the Grant Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

Bill was preceded in death by his late father, Elder Herman Partridge. His grandparents, Willie Lee and Sarah Partridge. His maternal grandparents Mr and Mrs Lockett. His oldest brother Joseph Partridge 

Bill was born on May 11, 1965 to the late Elder Herman Partridge and Jolene Marable. He graduated from Dublin Coffman High School in 1983 and also attended Toles Technical School while attending Dublin Coffman. After graduating from high school he worked for a short period of time for his Father’s construction company, Preferred Structures Inc. as a Laborer.

Throughout his life, Bill was known for his sense of humor and great work ethic. He worked for Juvenile Detention Center for 30 years and Allied Universal Security Company for 18 years.

He was a member of Bible Way Church for most of his life. He got saved at the early age of 4 years old. He loved the Lord, his wife, children and his church. He loved playing that Bass guitar. He taught himself how to play the keyboard and the bass guitar at the age of 13. Bill enjoyed music, walks in the park and going to movies. He loved cooking on his grill. He would say I got the whole neighborhood smelling good.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Sherry Patton-Partridge. Children, son Isaiah Partridge, daughter Jasmine Partridge of Columbus, Ohio. Step mother Dorothy Partridge. Brothers Torren Partridge and Kevin (Kelli) Partridge of Columbus, Ohio. Sisters Tisa (Jeremy), Monica (Brandon) Mason of Columbus, Ohio. His father in law John Wesley Patton III. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A host of friends, including Kevin Harris, Steve Calloway, Dante Preston and Shawn Mathis.

His presence will be greatly missed by all those that loved and knew him.

Funeral service will be Friday, September 12, 2025 at Bible Way Church, 453 S. Wheatland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio. The viewing will begin at 10:00 am.  Service to begin at 11:00 am. Pastor Timothy Latta officiating.
