Tyra Kristian Hill

Tyra Kristian  Hill, 50, passed on May 26, 2026 surrounded by love.

Born on December 18th, 1975 at 3:04 p.m. to Callie and Howard Hill. Tyra Kristian Hill was the embodiment of LOVE.

If you knew Tyra, then you knew what love, peace and family were all about. Tyra was truly a pure and  beloved individual. To be in her presence made all feel at comfort. Although she was non-verbal, you could clearly understand what it meant to be calm when next to her.

Many have conflicting relationships with the people in their lives, this was not the case with Tyra. You could not show anger, displeasure or be upset while in the same room as her. She had an infectious smile. If she laughed, you would too. If she was in pain, you would know and feel an urgency to comfort her.  She was the embodiment of LOVE.

Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, the peace, joy, and lessons of pure love, patience, and resilience that she brought to all who knew her will never be forgotten. Her family will not be the same without her.

Tyra is survived by her loving parents Howard and Callie Hill, her sister Amelia and her brother Mark, nieces Alexandria, Sophia, and Mia Hill, nephew Yusef Dakhlallah and cousin Yasir Wells.

A memorial service will be held on June 8th, 2026 12:00 to 2 p.m. at Smoot Funeral Services, 4019 E. Livingston Ave. | Columbus, OH 43227
