Rose K Long

Rose K Long, age 88, was called home to be with the Lord January 10, 2026. Rose K. Long born October 11, 1937 in Thomson, Georgia to the late Jessie Mae Hampton and Joseph Jackson. Rose was a devoted mother of four children, three sons, and one daughter she was a cook at Lombardo‘s restaurant for over 32 years. She was a retiree of the Franklin County sheriffs office.
Rose  was an avid bingo player, She loved to travel and gather with family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, Joking with family and friends, she was also known for her witty sense of humor and infectious laugh. 
Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Mae, Hampton , Joseph Jackson, Daughters Monica, Obey and Lisa Lyles and Brother Thomas Jackson Sr.
Rose leaves, to cherish the memory of her children Tony Thomas( Kelly), Gregory Wilson, Leo Lyles Jr.(Tamara); 5 bonus children, Anthony ,Dwayne, Pierre , Tyrone and  Crickette.
Grand Children; Tony, Tizsonia, Jeremy, Ieasha  , Lois , Shanequia, Shante, Anna, Dameon,  Kalynn, DeMarco, Jaonica. Great grandchildren- Kiara, Prince, Tony, Donovan,Mi’yonni, Yi’monni, Christopher, Matthew,Eljay, Janiya, J’aliyah, Malani, Myanna,Maleeyah,Ja’Naijah,Key’mon,Lux, Kehlani. A host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Home-Going Celebration 11AM Friday, January 30, 2026 at Trinity Baptist Church, 421 St. Clair Ave., Columbus, Ohio.  Family will receive friends 10AM until time of service.
