Ronald Anthony Crowder affectionately known as “Tone" was the only child of James and Patricia Crowder. He was born and lived in Columbus Ohio. Tony attended and graduated from South High School in 1991. During his sophomore, junior and senior years he was an active member of Alpha Esquires. He also attended Clark-Atlanta University. He worked in collections and accounts receivable in managerial positions
He loved dancing, listening to music, reading murder mysteries and driving. He especially loved his family. He is pre-deceased by his grandmother Neva Leslie, His maternal great-grandparents Luther and Alice Brock, his paternal grandparents James T and Luellen Crowder and a host of great aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his grandfather James Leslie, parents James and Patricia Crowder, great aunts Surlean Ross, Barbara Greene, uncle Luther “Chipper” Leslie, aunt Bonita Leslie-Pegram, uncle Donnie Crowder, aunt Janice Abrams’, aunt Debra Rhodes, brothers, Carlton Crowder, James Crowder 3rd; sisters, Pertina Crowder and Cynthia Jackson; twin cousins, Robert and Bryan Leslie; godmother, Addie Coleman; great niece London Brooks and great nephew Dante Brooks. A host of other relatives and friends.
Tone’ was a life member of Mt Vernon Ave AME Church having served on the usher board, the Uplifters choir, YPD, the Boy Scouts and anywhere he could be of service until he relocated to Atlanta Ga.
