Robert Linny Tatum

Robert Linny Tatum “Tweety” was born on August 2, 1961, in Columbus Ohio. A graduate of Linden McKinley High school, where he played football. He went on to attend Bowling Green State University. He drove semi-trucks for Cardinal for 14 years. He lived his life to the fullest. Robert went on to start his own landscaping business, as owner and operator of R&D (Robert & Dominique) Lawn Care LLC for the past 13 years. He started his business with one lawnmower and one weed wacker and within a year his business flourished; and as they say, the rest was history. Working with his hands and making things beautiful was his passion while taking pride in his work. Though he was tall in stature, he was known as a gentle giant with a heart of gold. His smile would light up a room, along with having a sense of humor. He was very supportive and protective of those he loved. Robert was a intelligent man who displayed good qualities, while
always trying to help others reach their goals. Robert was called home on June 7, 2023..

 Robert L Tatum is proceeded in death by parents Rubin and Barbara Tatum, sisters Felice and Debbie Tatum, and brother Charles Tatum, and grandson Brenden Martae Brown. Robert is survived by his wife, Dominique Wallace-Tatum and stepson Janile Wallace; Children, daughter Rochelle Dillard, sons Robert Dillard and Darrin Williams(Laura); Grandchildren, Kimani and Keon Warren, Jade, Roman, Julian Williams; siblings, Jerry and Rosie Tatum and Larry Flowers.

Home-going Celebration 12PM  Friday, June 30, 2023 in the Chapel of SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio.
