Rita Franks

Rita J. Franks, affectionately known as “Franky”, was born on January 6, 1950, in Barnsville, Ohio,  born to the late Justina and Cesal Franks. She was the only girl of four boys.

Rita was a graduate of East High School. After high school Franky enlisted in the United States Army, where she served as a nurse. After given an honorable discharge, Franky entered into the workforce and began working anywhere she could find employment.In her spare time, she loved to party. As well as, loved singing, dancing, spending time with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Most of all, she loved her cats, Chole Franks and Missy Pooh Franks.On October 12, 2021, at approximately 10:48 AM at Riverside Hospital, She sadly lost her battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Justina and Cesal Franks.  Left to cherish her loving  memories are: daughter, Ann ( Kevin Farr Sr.) Crome; son, David Franks;

brothers,  Donald (Darlene) Franks  and Wallace (Jackie) Franks; grandchildren, Chyairra Crome, Tonja Crome, Aushnique Farr, Kevin Farr Jr., Makhie Jones and lil Micheal; great-grandchildren, Kayclen, Kyleigh and Darrell Jr., special cousin, Donald (Towanna) Newsome, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends
