Rayshawn Antonio McFolley

Our Beloved Rayshawn was born May 17, 2000 in his hometown, Elyria, OH to his mother Rolanda Wright and his father Raymond McFolley—both of Elyria, OH. Rayshawn gained his wings unexpectedly on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, OH. 

Rayshawn Antonio McFolley is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Albert Howard, maternal Great Grandfather Fredrick D. Fitzpatrick, Great Grandmother Anna Lois Fitzpatrick, Uncle Edward C. Jones Jr. and cousins, Ja’Siyah “Sy Sy” Boone and Ryan Ross. 

He leaves to cherish his memory his phenomenal mother, Rolanda Wright (Columbus, OH), his father, Raymond McFolley (Medina, OH) and special sister and best friend, Rakeysta Turner and nephew Za’ion; His siblings: brother, Raymond Jr. (Elyria, OH) and Ajavion (Medina, OH) ; sisters, Raemonie, and Raeliana, of Medina, OH; Maternal grandmothers, Lois Denise Wright and Mary Louise Donald both of Elyria, OH; Uncles Jerry Boone (Elyria, OH), Darius (Patricia) Boone (Columbus, OH), Tevin Jackson (Elyria, OH), Bruce McFolley (Elyria, OH); Aunts Kathy McFolley (Columbus, OH), Kendall “Debbie” (Cantrell) Mitchell (Elyria, OH), Tresia McFolley (Elyria, OH), special Aunt Tera Dean; A host of cousins, friends and other family members. 

Life Celebration 11AM Thursday, March 23, 2023 in the Chapel of SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio.  Family will receive friends 10AM until time of service.
