Phyllis Jean Newman

Phyllis J Newman 73, was called home to be with the Lord July 6, 2024. Phyllis along with her twin, Phillip, was born May 16, 1951 to Ollie and Emma Sowell in Columbus, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Sowell;  parents, Ollie and Emma Sowell; siblings, Ollie, Jr and Clifford Sowell, Vera Ross and Pearl Sowell; sister-in-law, Alma Sowell; nephews, James and Jeffrey Ross.  Left to cherish her memory: children, Augilia (Tiya) Sowell, Alasyali (Chuck) Sowell-Bateman;  grandchildren, Johnathan, Marsha, Tikiyia, Eliya, Chas, Chrissy, Taiwan, Tyerese, Eric, Torsha`, great grandchildren, Zyaun, and Ayris; siblings, Twin, Phillip Sowell, Otis (Jennese Kee) Sowell, Alice Myrick and Barbara Anderson; nieces, Sherri, Wendy, Tracey, Sonji,Sheiann, Tijuana, Kamiko, Kacey, Kandice, Desiree` and Dominique; nephews, Sidney, Allen, Ed, Michael, Eric and Donte`.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Home-going Service 10AM Saturday, July 20, 2024 at World Harvest Church, 4595 Gender Rd., Canal Winchester, Ohio.
