Michael N. Farmer, born April 1, 1970, was the 3rd child born to Michael and Jannie Farmer in Hartford, CT. The family moved from Hartford to Columbus, Ohio in 1972 where Mike attended local schools. Mike was an amazing athlete and football was his most loved sport. He was a star player in football, track and field and basketball at Franklin Heights High School. He set records that are still undefeated.
Mike loved fishing, sports, and cooking. Yet, his greatest love was his family. His pride and joy were his children whom he loved to spend time with. He loved The Ohio State Buckeyes and Dallas Cowboys and would spend his Saturdays and Sundays watching the games with family and friends. Mike recently received his CDL and was committed to driving trucks. He was currently employed with CLB Trucking, LLC. where he met a host of colleagues and friends. Mike also loved to try out new food recipes. Most of all, he was a family man with a huge and giving heart.
Mike departed this life suddenly, Friday March 6, 2026. He is proceded in death by his father Michael Farmer; maternal grandparents Thomas and Mary Martin; paternal grandparents Noah and Carrie Farmer; nephew Rodney Copeland. He leaves to cherish his fond memories his spouse, Angela Farmer; children Destiny, Hughia, Lani, Mika, Mya, Mariah and Michael Farmer Jr; grandchildren Miyaana, Kali and Isio; mother Jannie Farmer; siblings Vivian, Yvette, Darlene (Curt) Farmer, Latoya (Herman) Baron; honorary brothers Antonio Tyree and Shawn Hill; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mike was an amazing individual, with the most genuine heart and giving spirit. He will be missed by all those who knew him and beyond.
