Marsha Ann McDougald

Marsha Ann McDougald 79, departed on Monday, November 28 at OSU East Hospital.  Marsha was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 15, 1943, to Marian Wade Cunningham and Cleveland Cunningham (both of which preceded her in death) She was married to John McDougald November 7, 1968, until his death in 2000.  

Loving memories will be cherished by her children, Tracy Lavon Smith, Troy (Saundra) Cunningham, Vincent McDougald (Glenda Williams), Dionne (Shon) Newbern and step-daughter Deborah McDougald (Ulysses Bloom);  grandchildren, Tauren (Ryan) Cunningham, Nichole Rogiers, Sheriece  Gordon and Eric Gordon, Isaiah Rawlings, India (Charlotte) McDougald, Micah Upshaw, Rayvon Reeves, Tyler Locke, Jr.; and numerous great-grandchildren, brother Glenn Cunningham; nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-laws Judy Cunningham, Jewell Carter, Izola McDougald, and Evelyn Webster, cousins other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister Carol Gunnell, grandparents Paul E and Mildred Wade (Hairston), uncles, Paul Wade, Herman Wade, Russell Wade, Donnie Wade and Aunt Gloria Barkstall.

Marsha was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and attended Central High School.  She worked at Ohio State University, Western Electric and was retired at the time of her death.

Celebration life  12pm Monday, December 5, 2022, at Smoot Funeral Services 4019 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH. 43227.  Dr. Jefferey P. Kee officiating.  The Family will receive friends from 11am until time of service.  Interment at Evergreen Burial Park, 1401 Woodland Avenue, Columbus, OH. 43219
