Lola Mae (Crumpler) Bennett

Lola Mae Bennett, nee Crumpler was born December 25, 1924 in McRae Georgia to James Elbert and Rena Elvira Crumpler.  Lola peacefully transitioned to her Heavenly Home on November 23, 2025.  She is preceded in death by husband, Alton Bennett, daughters, Ruthy Ann Burton, Ida Kateria Anderson , Aronda Denise Cousin, and Patricia Lynn Ford; son, Edward  Stewart; sisters, Anna L Williams, Artilla Hamilton; brothers, Kelly Lee Crumpler, Luris Crumpler; grandchildren, newborn daughter of Ed and Joyce Stewart, Michael Bennett, Nevin Cousin, Jr, Nelson Burton, and Shuwn Edward McDearmon.

Left to cherish her memory; daughter, Bernistine Miller, sons; Alton (Verlayne) and Wadell Bennett, Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Home going Services, 10AM Friday, December 12, 2025 at Mt Hermon  Missionary Baptist Church, 2283 Sunbury Rd., Columbus, Ohio. Family will receive friends 9AM until time of service.  Interment, 12PM Greenlawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave., Columbus, Ohio.
