Lois M. Maxwell was born on February 5, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Mattie and John Henry Maxwell. She received her formal education through the Columbus Public School District.
Lois received Christ at an early age by the late Rev. Robert A. Myers, at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio. She later became a member of Union Tabernacle of God, until her death. Lois was a devoted sister, aunt, great-aunt, niece, and friend, who never met a stranger. Throughout her life, Lois loved to dance, play cards, babysit and to tell the kids her favorite saying “STOP!”. She was a member of Son’s Social Club and Heavy Metal Motorcycle Club. In her spare time, she loved spending time working at Royal Grill, Donut Hole and Honey Baked Ham, until her health declined. Lois was employed with Taco Bell.
On Friday, November 26, 2021, Lois M. Maxwell, departed this life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mattie and John Henry Maxwell; sisters, Barbara Sears, Mary Maxwell, Dorothy Whittaker; aunt, Johnnie Mae Harrington.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: twin sister, Darlene Maxwell; sisters, Marilyn Levine, Joan Maxwell and Gail ( Brain) Maxwell; cousin, Sylvester (Fredia) Harrington; special great-niece, Jashay Maxwell; special friends, Nate Clark and Carol Ann Hairston; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
