Lois Marie Horton

Lois Horton, age 76, was called home on March 31, 2023. Lois Horton was born on December 9, 1946 in Urbancrest, OH to Vincent Sr. and Margie Burk. She was a graduate of Grove City High School, after high school she married the love of her life, Levi three days after turning 18. They were married for 55 years and have two daughters –Loriell and Loletha.
Lois was employed at University Hospital in the dietary department for 40 years. While employed she was honored as Employee of the month and received other recognitions. Of the 40 years, 38
were in the supervisory capacity in nutrition and dietetics. Lois retired only to begin working again but this time as a volunteer.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Levi, parents Vincent & Margie Burk, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Lois leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughters, Loriell and Loletha, grandson Langston Womack, sisters, Ruby (Gaius) Griffea, Patricia Burk, Rachel Wood. A host of nieces and nephews.
