In Loving Memory of Leroy Maddox, Sunrise: July 7, 1948 -Sunset: August 28, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Leroy Maddox, who departed this life on August 28, 2025, at the age of 77.

Leroy was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He is preceded in death by his father Leroy Maddox Sr., mother Margaret (Reed) Maddox, sisters Sandra Maddox and his precious great-granddaughter Elodie Yara Maddox.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted daughters: Leondra (Adrian) Cummings, Gloria Michelle Moton, and Lesley Diane Maddox. He is also survived by his loving brothers James (Victoria) and Alfred Maddox and sister Rev. Alfreda Maddox,

Leroy’s legacy continues through his grandchildren: Breona, Brandon (Shannon)Maddox, Toriana, Torrance, Branshay, Micali and Kenneth, and great-grandson Ivion, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to his life.

Life Celebration 12 Noon Wednesday, September 10, 2025, in the Chapel of SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio.  Family will receive friends 11AM until time of service.

Leroy will be remembered for his strength, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
