Larry Allen Spruce

Larry Allen Spruce, affectionally known as “Spruce the Juice” or “Larry Love”, was born on June 8, 1964, in Cleveland, Ohio to Alice Brown. Larry was taken in at a young age by foster mom, Pauline Fort, he was raised in the loving care of her and respectfully and endearingly called her “mom”.

Larry attended Cleveland South High School, where he played on the football team and graduated in 1984. After graduating from high school, Larry continued his football career while attending Cheney State University. He later moved to Columbus in the year of 1987.

In 2008, Larry met the love of his life, Lestina Radcliff and warmly welcomed his children-in-love, Lamira, Deangela, and Christian. In his spare time, Larry loved telling jokes and spending time with his family and friends.

On Sunday, February 21,2022, age 57, Larry Allen Spruce, was called home to be with the Lord. He leaves to cherish his loving memory by his love of his life, Lestina Radcliff; mother, Alice Brown; foster mom, Pauline Forte; children- in-love, Lamira Radcliff, Deangela Radcliff, and Christian Radcliff; grandchildren, Jaymara, Dejuan and Lonnie Jr.; sisters, Iris Young, Selina McCary, Alisha Humphrey, and Robin Raymond; brothers, Carl (Candace) Radcliff, Mark (Michelle) Radcliff, and Curt Warner; special friend, Deborah “Granny” Israel; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Home-going Celebration will be held 1PM Friday, March 11, 2022 in the Chapel of SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus, Ohio 43227. Family will receive friends 12PM until time of service.  M.L. Smoot, Director, 614-444-1GOD(463). MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
