Jimmie Skipper, Jr

Jimmie Skipper, Jr. gained his wings on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 5:00 pm.  Jimmie was born on October 5, 1959 (64 years old).

He was a long standing member of Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir.  
Preceded in death by his parents Jimmie Skipper, Sr, and Mary Eldridge Skipper, nephew Antonio Valentino Sims.  Surviving him are sisters Harriet Skipper Sims, Lottie Skipper, Elizabeth Martin (Kennieth Martin, Sr.); pastor Georgia M. Skipper Stroud; brothers Edward Skipper and Eric Betts; niece, 
Tashana Sims Campbell; nephews Brian Sims, Maurice Sims, Vernon (Skeeter) Skipper and Shawn Skipper, Kennieth Martin (Shireal) and Kendrick Martin (Robin); special uncle, Moses Eldridge; many grand nieces and nephews, and many friends and acquaintances.  He was loved by all. Arrangements entrusted to SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43227; ML Smoot, Director, 614-444-1463
