Jerry Roger Holloway

Jerald Roger Holloway, affectionally known as “ Jerry”, was born on November 13, 1956, in Pataskala, Ohio to biological parents, Henry Wallace and Lillie Dear. Jerry was adopted at birth by John and Mabel Holloway. Being their only child, he was smothered with love, from parents that adored him.

Jerry was a loving and caring soul despite miss hasps that occurred later  in his life. He cherished his three biological siblings, growing up with them in his younger years running and playing in the country fields, were memorable moments to him. Older years, Jerry formed a bond with his biological parents, especially his father. Jerry attended Mohawk Alternative, where he excelled in basketball. With his tall athletic built and black curly hair, he was a ladies man. In one point in life, Jerry owned a tremendous amount of land in Pataskala, Ohio, that he inherited from his parents.

On December 7,2021, Jerry Roger Holloway, was called home to be with the Lord. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mabel Holloway; special uncle, James Dear; biological father, Henry Wallace; brother, Clyde Dear; sister, Barbara Dear-Oliver; nephew, Walter Dear; cousin, Chuckie Wallace; special aunt, Libby Wallace; and biological grandmother, Leola Dear.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: favorite sister, Lisa Dear; biological mother, Lillie Dear; children, Jerry, Rodriquez, Lisa, Scottie, Latrice, and Cassie; favorite cousin, Gene Wallace; and a host of grandchildren, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Jerry will truly be missed by those who genuinely loved and cared about him.
