Protector, advisor, confidant, father, brother, mentor, and best friend are just a few of the words that can be used to describe a man that meant so much to so many. A true patriarch, he was the unfailing rock that held his family together. Always there with an ear to listen, just the right words to comfort and support, and an unprecedented strength that carried everyone he loved. He was a shining example of what it means to practice what you preach. He loved to share his passions for cars and music and welcomed every opportunity to share his knowledge along with a funny story that would inevitably have you laughing and leave you with a smile to brighten your day. As the musical director for his church, he used his talent to play his guitar as a way to share his faith and love for the Lord. He was always making plans for tomorrow, but never failed to appreciate today. Even the smallest moments with him left an impact. To know him was to know love. His compassion, dedication, and humility were unmatched. Irreplaceable and unforgettable, he was taken too soon, but no amount of time would ever have been enough. He was a legend and a true king whose legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. Heaven must have needed a hero and they couldn’t have chosen a better man for the job.
