Harold Eugene Robinson

Harold Eugene Robinson, Sr. was born October 7, 1929, in Tate, Georgia, He was one of five children born to Guy and Mattie Mae Robinson, Sr. On September 18, 2021, Harold transitioned from this life to be with the Lord. Harold and his family moved to Columbus, Ohio at an early age. He received his formal education in the Columbus Public School System attending Reeb Elementary, Berry Middle and upon leaving high school, he entered the Navy Branch of the Armed Services on August 13, 1951. Harold was honorably discharged from the Navy on August 15, 1955, after four years of dedicated service. Following discharge, he returned to Columbus and became gainfully employed at The Ohio Malleable Steel Co. and eventually retired from The Borden Company. He will be sorely missed.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Mattie Mae Robinson, Sr.; Siblings, Maggie Taylor, Frances Louise West, Viola Rogers, and Guy Robinson, Jr.; Children, Roxanne Robinson, and Harold Eugene Robinson, Jr. He is survived by, his faithful and devoted wife, Rosa; Children, Regina (Trummie) Moorehead ,Mario Grant Robinson, and Maria Donna Robinson; Eight (8) grandchildren, Nine (9) great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Home-going Celebration 11AM Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Gospel Lighthouse Church, 600 Frebis Ave., Columbus, Ohio, 43206.  Family will receive friends 10AM until time of service.
