Gloria Dean Hightower

Gloria Dean Hightower ( PeeDee, Mama G) was born March 14, 1938 to the late Raymond F. Corbett and Annetta M. Hobbs in Columbus Ohio. She departed this life Tuesday January 17, 2023 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Barnell ( Kenneth) Congdon brother: Luey Corbett, son: Jonathan R. Hightower, aunt: Mildred H. Holmes.
She was educated and graduated from the Columbus Public Schools.

She leaves to cherish her memory one son: Charles (Laura Perkins) Dickerson, three daughters: Rhonda J. Dickerson, L. Monique Hightower, Clarnette “Punkin”Stevenson all of Columbus, Ohio. Two sisters: Sareta (Charlie) Miller of Flint Michigan and Lowanna (Ted) Banks of Austin Texas. Grandchildren: Melanie and Chad Dickerson, Jonathan and Monique Price, Tanazjia Stevenson and Tamia Humphrey. Four great-grandchildren youngest, one Jourdan Watson. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Home-going Celebration 12PM Friday, January 27, 2023 in the Chapel of SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio. Family will receive friends 11AM until time of  service. ML Smoot, Director, 614-444-1463.
