Gloria Ann Ferguson

Gloria Ann Ferguson, age 73 was born on July 17. 1948 in Laurel Creek, West Virginia to Arthur B and Ellen G Ferguson.  She accepted the Lord at a young age.  She attended Urbana University and received he Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University.  She enjoyed working for Bath and Body Works Corporate Office after retiring from The Ohio State University.

Gloria may have appeared quiet, however her enormous generosity and truly giving spirit was familiar to all of those who knew her.  She loved to shop and always the reason for many smiles because of her giving spirit. Gloria was a devoted caregiver, assisting in the care of both parents, including moving in to do so.  She always willing to watch her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews with no hesitation. She was always willing to please them and enjoyed their company.  Gloria was close to her sister and two brothers and enjoyed celebrating holidays, birthdays, and more with her extended family.

Though we may have tears because we were not ready to let go, and we had plans we didn't get to finish, we thank the Lord for the time he gave us with Gloria.  She may be out of reach, but she will never be out of our hearts and memories of her will last forever.

Gloria was preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Ellen Ferguson. She leaves to cherish her memory sister, Barbara (Minister Norman) Fadis, (Columbus, Ohio); brothers, Stanley Ferguson, (Riverdale, Georgia), and Larry (Elaine) Ferguson, (Columbus, Ohio). A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.  Home-going Celebration 11AM Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Bethany Baptist Church, 959 Bulen Ave., Columbus, Ohio.  Family will receive friends 10AM until time of service.  Interment, Glen Rest Memorial Estate, 8059 E Main St., Reynoldsburg, Ohio.  Arrangements entrusted to SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E.
