Garey E Henderson, Sr age 68, was called home February 6, 2024.  Garey is preceded in death by parents, Amos P Henderson and Willa B Henderson; brother, Theodore "Teddy" Dyer, and sister, Joanne Hill.  Left to cherish his memory, wife, Darlene Henderson; daughter, Aisha C. (Kelsey) Henderson- Rockaway; sons, Garey E Henderson II, Markel J Pettis, Joseph J Pettis, and Jonathan J Pettis; brothers, Phillip (Diane) Dyer, Amos P Henderson, Scott G (Sheila) Henderson, and Karl L (Robin) Henderson, Sr; sisters, Tracy L Henderson and Roxanne R Henderson. 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  A host of neices, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Life Celebration 12PM Friday, February 23, 2024 in the Chapel of SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio.  Family will receive friends 11AM until time of service.  Marcia Smoot, Funeral Director, 614-444-1463.
