Ervin Lee Locke Jr

Ervin Lee Locke Junior., age 72 , born in Columbus, Ohio unexpectedly departed this life on November 18 th 2025. Ervin was affectionately called “Junior” by all of his family and friends. Junior was a proud graduate of East High School and went on to earn a degree in Culinary Arts from the Columbus Technical Institute. absolutely loved to cook.

Junior is preceded in death by his mother Ernestine Locke-Lunsford, his father Ervin Lee Locke Sr., his granddaughter Yasmine L. Wilson and his grandson Savonne M.Wright, Jr; brothers' Leonard Locke, James Pickens, and Terry Locke. Sister: Geraldine Newman.

He is survived by Children,Tanika L. Locke, Tania (Demetrius) Tucker, and Ervin (Sierra) Davidson. Grandchildren: Briana Locke, Cierra and Cian Locke-Shelby, Milahn Wright, and D’Myo, Ja’Mere, and Sensae Davidson. Great-Grandchildren: Ethan and Eziekiel Wilder, Laila and Lyza Russell, Kahlani and Khloe Locke-Shelby and Karter Rose Wright. Sisters: Shirley Locke and Laverne Stanley and Brothers: Ernest Locke, Robert (Denise) Locke and Tyler Locke. Junior is also survived by a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Junior will be missed by so many
family and friends and I am sure he misses us too.

Family will receive friends 11AM until 1PM Monday, December 8, 2025 in the Chapel of SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio. Please keep the Locke family in your thoughts and prayers.
