Dwayne (Wayne) Edwin Hughes was born on March 15, 1962  the late Clarence and Althea Hughes in Columbus Ohio at OSU Hospital. Dwayne Edwin Hughes, age 60, transitioned to his Heavenly home October 17, 2022. He is preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Althea Hughes; brother, Kenneth Hughes; sisters, Lasonda Moore and Lisa Hammond; nieces, Tanoa Hughes and Keisa Moore.

Wayne leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Tamela Hughes; daughters Asia Smith, Dwanna Luckett, Lanoki Hughes, and De'Neah Scott; honorary daughter, Keisha Harper; grandchildren, Kamyi, Kaniah, Zion, Braylynn, JaKeyah, JaPaul, and Josiah; brother, Cecil (Shirley) Hughes; sisters, Sharyn Morris, Beverly
Jenkins, Perdita Abbington, Annette (McKell) Copeland; sister in law, Tina (Michael) Washington, Debbie Hughes; great aunt, Alice Mae Johnson; mother in law, Bonita Hill, and a host of nieces , nephews, other relatives, friends, club brothers and sisters.
