Delmaria Motley-Tucker

It is with profound sadness that we accept the passing of Delmaria Andrea Motley (Tucker), a devoted daughter, loving mother, cherished sister, treasured family member and loyal friend. Born on November 12, 1997 in Huntington, WV, Delmaria's radiant spirit touches the lives of everyone who knows her. She departed this life on December 4, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unforgettable memories.

Delmaria is the beloved daughter of Kelly Motley and Delmar Tucker. She was raised with unwavering care, support and love by her maternal aunt, Cynthia Johnson, her paternal grandparents, John and Catherine Ward, with step-mother Yolanda Johnson and godmoms Tamika Summerville and Tracy Poole.

A devoted mother, Delmaria’s greatest joys were her two children, Delmar Dylan Stewart and Q'onna Lynnae Poole. Her love and dedication to them were boundless, and she leaves them with a legacy of strength and compassion.

Delmaria is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Sharon Motley, aunt, Carla Motley, and best friend Jamika Summerville. She is also a treasured sister to Steven Motley, Dwight Motley, Sha’Keila Motley, Nikeya Motley, Treynea Motley, Meana Motley, Dana Tucker as well as Tallice Carr, Daesha Minnis, Sheena Sawyer and Diamond Minnis. She leaves her grandfather Charles Motley,  aunts Jenefeness Franke, TaShawna, Gracy and uncle Danjuma Marshall, along with immediate cousins Quandale, Jymyre, Jaiona,  Dadrica, Genesis, Kiomi, Kimani and a whole hosts of additional family and friends to cherish her memory. Her bond with her family and friends is unshakable, and her memory will forever live on in our hearts.

Known for her kind spirit, bright smile, and enduring love for her family and friends, Delmaria made an impact on everyone she met. She is deeply missed but never forgotten by those who love her forever. Though her time with us was too brief, Delmaria's spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she touched.

The family is eternally grateful for the members of Resurrection Power COGIC. Their support has been invaluable. The funeral  services are at 11AM on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Resurrection Power COGIC, 81 Price Road, Gahanna, OH 43230. Family will receive friends at 10AM until time of service.
