Brenda Lee Dillon

Brenda Lee Dillon was born in Columbus, OH on April 27, 1950 at Mercy Hospital to Lawrence and Bessie Forester.  She was raised in Lockbourne, OH; one of 8 children.  She remained especially close with her sister Blenda Fitch throughout her life. 

Brenda was a stay at home mom and went to work after her children were grown.  She always had an open door to babysit for friends and family.  She worked at and Retired from Heinzerling Foundation in Columbus, after over 20 years of dedicated service.  She was affectionately known as “Bridgette” to her closest friends and family.

Bridgette was a kind and generous person who was always willing to lend a helping hand to her friends, family and neighbors.  She loved raising her 5 girls, Jeri, Valerie, Crissy (Michael) Kellum, Tammie (Reginald) Hudson and Charmaine, and creating lasting memories for them when they were young.  Her love extended to all of her stepchildren; Herbert Morris Jr., Tina Carter, Angela Morris, Denise Morris, Alfred Morris, and their children, as well as step children Tiffany Morris, and Derrick Morris.

Bridgette enjoyed various hobbies to include eating out, thrifting, crocheting, making homemade BonBons to give to family and friends, spending time with her children and grandchildren.  

Bridgette passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at OSU Ross Heart Hospital on September 14, 2022.  Preceded in death by Father Lawrence Forester, Mother Bessie Forester (Sweeney), Grandson Eugene Dillon, and Christoph C. Taylor.

She leaves behind her loving sister Blenda Fitch, her five children and grandchildren Jordan, Daryll, Dylan, Serenity, Leah, Caiden, Christoff, Kendall, great-grandsons Zavon, and Zamiar. 

The family would like give a special thanks to Tina Carter for her loving support during this difficult time: Reginald Hudson and Stephanie Morris for there loving contributions, and Carlos Harris for his hospitality.
