Brandy Jeanette Houston

 Brandy Jeanette Houston was born Sunday, May 22, 1978 in Dayton, Ohio.  She was the daughter of  Gregory Chappel and Barbara Houston. Brandy grew up on the westside of Columbus, Ohio where she played basketball for Starling Middle School. She later graduate a year earlier prior to her graduation class at Columbus East High School.  Brandy attended  St Aloyius Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

  Our beloved Brandy entered eternal rest on Friday, August 9, 2024 at OSU North. She was 46 years old.  Brandy was preceded in death by her parents; Gregory Chappel and Barbara Houston, grandmother, Lizzie Jackson. 

Left to cherish her memory, fiancee` Kent Brown, children: Inshina Brown, Brandon Houston, Hassan Houston, Quierra Houston, Rashied Houston, Kenya Houston, Jakeace Houston, Breaca Houston and ZaNya Houston; granchildren: Jan Ibrahim, Jayde Brown, Jayvion Richardson, KaMarion Houston, Mylani  Houston, and  Roy Brown, siblings; Marshanda Chase, Laura Houston and Gregory Houston; nephew; Francis Houston; niece; Destiny Houston; favorite cousins; Latoylia Houston and Mary Carter. A host of other relatives and friends.  Celebration 12PM Friday, August 30, 2024 in the Chapel of SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio.
