Beulah Heard Obituary

II Timothy 4:7 “I have fought a good life, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.’’

St. Queen Beulah Heard was a true Believer and trusted in God. Her favorite song was “God’s Grace” St. B. Heard was born on March 6, 1934 to Virginia and Hayward Stallings of Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She attended the public schools in Rocky Mount. St. Heard received the Holy Ghost in the late 50’s. As a youngster, St. Heard, became member of the House of Prayer under Daddy Grace in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She played in the band, served as a maid, and even worked on the House of Prayer food truck for a few years. St. B. Heard relocated to Columbus, Ohio as an adult and was the overseer of the Mountain. She served as the President of the Senior Ushers and Top Club for many years. Her highest level in G class was Top 25 in the organization and a G class worker for many, many years. She sang with the Singers of Faith and the Columbus Mass Choir. St. B. Heard believed in getting directly to the point and not a lot of extra nonsense. She was about work. She will be greatly missed. St. B. Heard was preceded in her passing by her husband; St. Deacon George Heard II; Bro. K. Heard and Bro. Frederick T. Rollins. She leaves to cherish her memory, loving children: devoted daughter Dionne M. Rollins, Pierre Rollins, and Mishell (Kirby) Kirkland; four sisters, St. Cleo White, St. Pearl Stallings, Mrs. Anna Bell, St. Ida Carpenter; aunt, Mrs. Lula Mae Sanders; grandchildren, Dorman Morgan, Andre (Jessica), Carlos and Dionne Rollins, Lena Pollard, and Henry Whiteside; great grandson, Quincy Rollins; stepchildren, George Heard III, Vicky Rudolph, and Valerie Heard; acknowledgement of Apostles, Pastors, and Elders, Apostle Walker, Apostle W. Swanringer, Apostle Cloud, Apostle J.W. Smith, Apostle R. Price, Elder Coleman, Elder Ashford, Elder Ronald Albertha; special loved ones, Deacon Roy Pollard, Lorraine Steele, St. Brenda Hall, Vicky Hector, Romaine Flowers, Donnie Hall, Audrey Thomas, Helen Goss-Gunter, Irvin Gunter, Debra Gunter, St. Cloud, St. Walker, Henry Cleveland, and Parthenia Walker and Russel Lott; acknowledgement of St. Lady D. Madison; special acknowledgement, Honorable Leader, Bishop A.D. Cunningham.

 

 

The Home-Going Celebration of St. Beulah Heard will be held 11AM Saturday, October 21, 2023 at United House of Prayer 1, 1731 Greenway Ave., Columbus, Ohio.  Family will receive friends 10AM until time of services.  Interment 10AM Monday, October 23, 2023 at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greelawn Ave., Columbus, Ohio.  Arrangements entrusted to SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E.
