Bertha Smith

Bertha Smith, age 87, received her wings Wednesday, November 20, 2024. She was born on January 9, 1937 to Burrell Smith and Macy Lee Smith (nee Rockard ) in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She was a longtime member of Rhema Christian Center where she served in many different areas of ministry. She was a true woman of God.

Bertha is preceded in death by her son, Daniel; brothers, Carl, David and James; sisters, Myrtle, Louis, Jeanette and Helen.  Those who will continue to cherish Bertha's memory, daughters, Tammy and Deborah Gardner; granddaughter, Asia; grandson, Joshua and great granddaughter, Amani. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Home-going Celebration 12PM  Friday, December 6, 2024 in the Chapel of SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio. Family will receive friends 11AM until time of service. Interment, Evergreen Burial Park, 1401 Woodland Ave., Columbus, Ohio.
