It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Antwan L. Brown, who departed this life peacefully on April 3, 2025, at the age of 47.
Born to Roderick and Theresa Harper, Antwan was a beloved son whose life was rooted in family, love, and loyalty. From a young age, he brought joy and light to those around him, and he grew into a man known for his strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.
Antwan was a deeply cherished and devoted father, a beloved friend, and a true pillar of strength in the lives of all who knew him. A passionate Ohio State Buckeyes fan and former youth football player, he poured his love for the game into mentoring his son, Antwan Jr., an up-and-coming football star. He was not only AJ’s personal coach but also his role model and most devoted supporter. Known for his genuine heart and selfless spirit, Antwan was someone people could always count on—always showing up, always caring, always real. He had a special way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and supported. His presence brought comfort, strength, and stability, and the outpouring of love from so many is a testament to the incredible impact he made in his lifetime. Antwan was the rock of his family and a steady presence for his friends. He will be greatly missed and leaves a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. His legacy of love, loyalty, and leadership will live on forever.
He is survived by his Fiancé, Misti; his children, Keiaira, Aaliyah (Jamie), Antwan Jr., Amir, and Amari; and his grandchildren, Mi’King, Mi’Angel, and Mi’Love. He also leaves behind his parents, Roderick and Theresa; his sisters, Lanitra, Ashley (Greg), and Theresa; his brothers, Delane and Fonzie; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished friends.
