Amanda M Gordon, 73, transitioned peacefully to her Heavenly Home August 5, 2024. Amanda Marie Gordon, was born June 3, 1951 to Mary and Edward Cooley. She was a beloved
mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Amanda's warm spirit and generous heart touched all who knew her.
Amanda was a cherished fixture at Grant Hospital for an impressive 48 years, where she made lasting contributions and formed enduring friendships. Known for her sassy nature and kind soul, she approached life with a vibrancy that endeared her to everyone around her.

Amanda was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Carter Gordon and parents, Edward and Mary Cooley. Amanda is survived by her son, Valdez Gordon; her brother, George Cooley; her
grandchildren, Ian and Joni Gordon; her nieces, Tanya, Georgina and Mary, and many other family and friends.

Home-going Celebration 1:30 PM Monday, August 12, 2024 in the Chapel of SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E Livingston Ave. Family will receive friends 12PM until time of service.
