Almeda Louise Bowers, age 90, was called home May 22, 2023.  She is predeceased by parents, Charles and Carmen Day; husband, Howard E. Bowers, Sr; son, Howard E Bowers, jr; siblings, William "Billy" Day, Anthony "Tony" Wilson, Dr. Robert Day, and Virginia Wilson; special person, Lee Ervin.  Left to cherish her memory, children, Cynthia M Bowers, Lois "Candy" Bowers, Trina R Bowers-Ervin, William "Redd" Bowers, Charles "Tony" (Deiadre) Bowers, Robert E. (Angelique) Bowers and Keith L Bowers; special sister in-law, Betty Bowers. A host of grandchildren, great, great- great, and great -great -great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  Home-going service 11AM Saturday, June 3, 2023 in the Chapel of SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E.
