Allen Tyrone Dixon

Allen Tyrone Dixon, age 60 went home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2023.  Allen "Tyrone" Dixon was born to Delores Dixon on June 28, 1962. Delores married John Patton in 1965, and he accepted Tyrone as his own. Tyrone grew up around very strong women of God. Great grandma Pastor Braggs, Grandma Wilson and Grandma Linda Dixon. Grandma Linda made sure we all went to Sunday school and church. Tyrone was baptized and attended Bibleway church with grandma Linda and his aunt Beverly Williams at a young age. Tyrone was part of the Big Brothers mentoring program during his early teens. He boxed briefly with PAL, the Police Athletic League. He had some troubles in his late teens and adult years, but would sometimes call his sister, out of the blue, asking her to pick him up for church. He believed that that God was merciful. He had that early Christian foundation. Tyrone exited this life into eternity on May 18, 2023. He is proceeded in death by his grandfather Charles Dixon, grandmother Linda Dixon, and mother Delores Patton. He leaves behind Grandmother Azelee Wilson, father John Patton, sisters Angela(Charles) Sykes, Sherry Patton, Kimberly(Eric) Williams, Jodie Edmondson, Henrietta(Jermaine) Jackson. A host of aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.   Family will receive friends Monday, June 19, 2023 from 10AM until 11AM in the Chapel of SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E.
