Albert Henry Watson, Jr; age 76 (Sunrise: August 11, 1949, Sunset: October 11, 2025) was a devoted family man and proud veteran who passed away after a well-lived life.
Born in Fairmont, West Virginia, he relocated with his family to Columbus, Ohio in 1959. He graduated from South High School in 1969 and was known for forming lifelong bonds on the near eastside of Columbus. Albert met and married Carla Faye (Harrison) Watson and together they had a son, Albert Tockashan Watson.
Albert proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1975 to 1977 as an interior Communications Electrician aboard the USS Bagley (FF-1069), participating in WESTPAC operations.
He is survived by his wife Carla, children, Brett L. Henderson, Albert T. Watson, and Sherlinda Stewart; sister, Linda D. Wofford; brother, Chilon P. Watson; and nine grandchildren. Albert is preceded in death by parents, Albert H. Watson, Sr, and Juanita V. Watson; youngest brother, Demetrius Watson; grandson, Marques Lindley, and his honorary daughter, Kandi R. Henderson.
